Updates & Information**Update 08/12/2020**
Now that the county is in the green phase, we are able to meet all your dental needs. To ensure we stay in the green, we do have a few new 'normal' procedures. All persons entering the office must wear a mask. Patients will be presented with a consent to be treated form, where they must verify that they have not traveled outside the state in the 14 days prior to their appointment, and that they do not display any symptoms of COVID-19. We will also take each patient's temperature. If it is 100.0 degrees or above, the appointment will be rescheduled. If you are uncomfortable waiting in the office with others who are masked, you can wait in your car, and we will call you when the doctor is ready to see you. Again, you must be masked when you enter for your appointment, and remain masked unless receiving treatment. Together, we will take care of your dental health and keep our staff, patients, and community healthy. If you do not wish to follow our protocols, perhaps our office isn't the place for you, and we wish you good dental health at another facility. **Update 05/12/20** As Allegheny County moves to the yellow phase, our office is able to provide more services to accommodate your dental needs. Routine cleanings, however, are still not able to be performed. For the safety of our patients and staff, we will be adhering to a few new protocols. When scheduling, we will ask if any symptoms of illness are present, or if they have been to any areas where there has been widespread infection. We are asking patients to limit who accompanies them to their appointments, to minimize the number of people in the waiting room so that social distancing can be observed. We are requiring patients to wear a mask to their appointments. We will also take each patients' temperature prior to being seen. If the reading is over 100.4, the patient will be rescheduled. We are employing additional infection control measures to protect patients and staff as well. We appreciate everyone's patience, understanding and cooperation during this unprecedented time. **UPDATE 03/25/20** *Due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak, and resulting mandates through Local and State governments, we are implementing changes to our office schedule as follows: 1) We will not be scheduling any preventive appointments until after April 13, and will re-evaluate as conditions warrant at that time. 2) We are only seeing patients on an emergency basis.
